LIHU‘E — The Office of the County Clerk, Council Services Division announced on Monday that Kaua‘i County Council Chair Mel Rapozo will host a series of town halls throughout the island starting on Jan. 25.
LIHU‘E — The Office of the County Clerk, Council Services Division announced on Monday that Kaua‘i County Council Chair Mel Rapozo will host a series of town halls throughout the island starting on Jan. 25.
The purpose of the town halls is to gather community concerns in preparation for the county budget deliberations that are scheduled to start in late March.
The first town hall will be held on Jan. 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hanalei Neighborhood Center. The schedule moves to Kilauea Neighborhood Center on Jan. 29 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On Feb. 26, the town hall will meet at Council Chambers in the Historic County Building from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On March 1, the town hall will convene at Kapa‘a Neighborhood Center. On March 4, the town hall will be held at Kalaheo Neighborhood Center, and on March 11 the town hall will be at Kekaha Neighborhood Center.
All of the town halls will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
