The Macy’s store in Lihu‘e is one of five targeted for closure this year. The other stores are Macy’s Ballston in Arlington, Virginia, Macy’s Bay Fair in San Leandro, California, Macy’s Simi Valley Town Center in Simi Valley, California, and Macy’s Governor’s Square in Tallahassee, Florida. The store closures were announced by the retailer last week.
Last I checked, it was 2024. There should have been 10 cameras on the valuable stuff.
Not to mention……$20K. Inside job, on an island in the middle of the Pacific.
Should be solved by Friday…….but this is Kauai.
May I suggest the department of web cams setups or some other sales dept. that didn’t get paid. So they just use computers to steal the funds from a general fund off the store retail shelf. And take it from there. Stealing legally because it’s a sale.
Let us know on Friday. If they caught the guy. I think this guy is in custody. If charged, 10 years in prison. Or she.
