Kudos to Shannon Hiramoto, Jaime Jimenez and all those hands that made the Mu‘umu‘u sale (and exchange) event (Jaime and Ka‘iulani Kauahi even had men’s Hawaiian style shirts, Lloyd Kajikawa). So, how many potential Pa‘ina guests took advantage of the Mu‘umu‘u Library for their luncheon event that’s coming up at the Smith’s Tropical Paradise … tickets are still available through the Kaua‘i Historical Society.

Crystal was busy with all the other Lions clubs on the island collecting the used eyeglasses (they have collection boxes at select business locations around the island for those who were engaged in other activities on Saturday) and hearing aids with the EK Lions Club at Kukui Grove Center.
Lee Wilke (love that American flag that flies over the Saturday market!) got a head start on the Grove Farm Market crowd that capitalized on the blue skies and high-level clouds (market monitor Liann even got her truck washed because the it rained the night before) to visit Tiffany and Austin Wright’s seedlings booth that took over the spot where Ka‘apuni Nurseries used to occupy.
OK, time to check out Pau Hana Market (they have poha, and Value Added poha, David Sosner of Kukui Grove leadership team who has memories of grinding those morsels).
