John and Juliet Kaohelauli‘i just closed their Sole Mates 808 and were excited about where to bring the grandkids on the first and third Tuesday of each month.

There is no time to catch anyone’s breath because Malasada Tuesday follows with Ash Wednesday marked as Feb. 14 (yikes! It’s the same date as Valentine’s Day!) … time to place orders at Kaua‘i Bakery so there’s no shortage of malasada.
And, a reminder … David Chung and The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center team is here on Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kaua‘i Resource Center in Ahukini, and the Lions Clubs (all Lions Clubs!) will be hosting their collection of used eyeglasses and hearing aids at many different locations around the island on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
