Kaua‘i police officials earn ‘Officer of the Year’ awards
LIHU‘E — Three Kaua‘i Police Department (KPD) officers were selected for “Officer of the Year” awards at the Hawai‘i State Law Enforcement Official Association’s 67th annual conference earlier this month in Waikoloa, Hawai‘i Island, with a Kaua‘i officer being selected for 2021, 2022 and 2023.

HANAPEPE — With just over six minutes showing on the game clock Kapa‘a Eagles’ 12 Under’s Randal Miyashiro scored on a 55-yard run to answer the Hanapepe Colts’ Chad Cabral’s 15-yard score that came with 6:55 showing at a Kaua‘i Pop Warner Football League game at Hanapepe Stadium on Sunday.
