Melissa McFerrin Warrack of the Kukui Grove Center said the Key Club students have set up a gift wrapping station near the Spectrum Keiki Korner play area from “after school” which means the students will be ready to gift wrap from around 3 p.m. for this volunteer service project.
Elyse Litvack of Kumu’s Cupboard said the book sale in the Medicare Geek’s space will also have gift wrapping available on Saturday, and Sunday when the book sale takes place from 10 a.m. on both days. The gift wrapping donation also counts toward the Grove Farm Company’s match grant.
Eugene Onio Punzal picked up some bamboo (no kadomatsu?) at the Lydgate Farms, and used his swim shorts to warn people about the stalks sticking out of his pickup when he made a stop at the Outrigger Kaua‘i Beach Resort and Spa…have you checked out the holiday displays spearheaded by Robert Ancheta and the Housekeeping Department? Tisha Remigio of the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i said “it’s very Christmassy!”
