Kuamo‘o Road
For anyone else wondering when state-administered Kuamo‘o Road, with its dozens of warzone potholes, will be repaired, I checked with our legislative representatives. Luke Evslin, the only representative who bothered to reply, let me know that the state will be making major repairs to the road in 2024, and that its many potholes will be spot-repaired in the meantime. Many thanks to Luke Evslin for his reply. Ron Kouchi and Nadine Nakamura, on the other hand, apparently have more important things to do than respond to the concerns of mere voters.

We need major road repairs in Koloa Town area- so dangerous!!!
Nadine Nakamura has never responded to any of my questions either, it makes me wonder how she gets re elected each term
I have sent in emails about why the trees and bushes have been allowed to grow up blocking the view of the falls. No answers, Is everybody busy?
Oh wait, the City Council are still spending all their time working on a plan for curbside recycling! It’s only been 15 years! Now, THAT IS PROGRESS! Your government at work!
Seems like every week a new truck or two at the Falls repair site. Is the situation getting better or worse? It would be nice to know. Luckily Olohena recently repaved in case we all have to use it.
Honest question – does Ron Kouchi even live on Kauai any more?
