Okay, this is it…today is the last chance for pet photos with Santa at Santa’s House at the Kukui Grove Center because next week is Christmas. Today is also the last chance for the kadomatsu decorations from Lorena Silva and Opu Road Farm because the Pau Hana Market will be closed for Christmas. But the Pau Hana Market will return on New Year’s Day.

Kudos to John Ruiz and the crew at the Kekaha Landfill for coordinating with Chelsea Ruiz and the “We Are Kekaha” PTSA group on a very nice Kekaha Kalikimaka (love that term from Aloha Ambassador Dawn O’Brien that perfectly fit the event). She also had a great story about Harry Medeiros and the TSA…almost as good as Mary and the dog in baggage.
Sheila Bradley missed having her book fair at Kekaha Kalikimaka, but teamed up with Elyse Litvack of Kumu’s Cupboard to take advantage of the Medicare Geek’s vacation at the Kukui Grove Center. The book sale benefiting Kumu’s Cupboard will happen on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. with gift wrapping (any purchase from Kukui Grove is eligible for wrapping) to benefit Kumu’s Cupboard who also has a match grant from the Grove Farm Company.
And if you think things have slowed for Christmas, guess again…we have the Wailua Creators Fair happening on Christmas Eve at the Hilton Garden Inn…gotta go early for those food stuffs. And, Winter Break doesn’t start until Friday.
