Hope Francine Terwilliger
Hope Francine Terwilliger left us way too soon on Oct. 30, 2023. Hope will be missed by all who loved her and knew her.
Hope was born in Medford, Oregon, on April 19, 1985. She moved to Kaua‘i in 2001 with her mother and sister. There are many things for which Hope was known, but all who knew her would agree that she was best known for her infectious smile and sense of adventure. She loved hiking the many trails of the island almost as much as she enjoyed watching the sunset, climbing trees, spotting turtles, building rock cairns, caring for plants and flowers (she inherited her green thumb from her mother), and creating beautiful art. But more than anything else, Hope loved her two children James and Lily; they were her everything.
Hope is survived by her children James and Lilly, sister Rose Ogihara (Derek) and aunts Darcie Peterson (Eldon) and Patti Brooks (Ellis).
She was preceded in death by her mother Marji and father Doug.
