Still looking for that last-minute holiday stocking-stuffer for the four-legged member of the family? Katie O’Brien opened Lickety Louie’s Homemade Dog Treats at the Nov. 25 craft fair (Saturday had no less than six if you count Troy Lazaro’s hoike craft fair, and the Downtown Lihu‘e Night Market — Aloha Paws was at the Holly Jolly event before coming over to Kress Street) …and for those who need holiday pictures of pets with Santa, Santa’s House has designated Mondays (they open from noon) as the days for pets to visit Santa at Kukui Grove Center.

Sue and Sol Kanoho stopped by the Downtown Lihu‘e Night Market after “supporting” Troy Lazaro’s craft fair offering … better hurry because the “Elf” movie rolls at 6 p.m., Justin Pajela said … Aloha Dance Studio was hosting its Make Your Own Slime table, again before the movie (and the Holiday Light Show).
Mary Lardizabal and the Kapa‘a Middle School Choir and ‘Ukulele Band had no less than three appearances on Saturday starting with the Breakfast with Santa (mahalo Gather Federal Credit Union for that generous contribution to the Kaua‘i Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Chef Mark Oyama!), the Holly Jolly event (where Leialoha Kekauoha-Masae — happy birthday! — and Kupono found the perfect headpiece), and an appearance at the Coconut Marketplace …and she even had time to check out the “Elf” movie before the group hosts a concert on Wednesday with accompanying craft vendors at Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort that offers the public a free Royal Holiday experience in Ka Mala that has been decorated by six community groups.
Sue Kanoho even had a video done of the experience after checking it out during the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce meeting — congratulations, Laurie Yoshida on the presidency — and the Troy Lazaro hoike … wow! And it’s not over … the historic Waimea Theatre people hosts the annual Waimea Lighted Christmas parade on Saturday!
