Kale ‘Dudi Boy’ Kahepu‘u Spencer Makua
Kale “Dudi Boy” Kahepu‘u Spencer Makua of Waimea, Kaua‘i, passed on Nov. 8, 2023, in Waimea at the age of 40. He was born on June 25, 1983, in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i. He was a security officer.
He was preceded in death by father Eric M. Arizo.
He is survived wife Tiare Makua, sons Kaikena Makua, Ka‘ilahui Makua, Kahuaina Makua, Kaulana Makua, daughters Kealae Makua, Kaleikaumaka Makua, Kanuialoha Makua, Kawena Makua Martins, one grandchild, parents Patricia May Arizo and Charlie Kahepu‘u, brothers Kaina Makua, Kalani Makua, Gabby Kahepu‘u, Nohili Kahepu‘u, CJ Kahepu‘u, EJ Morris, sisters Kalae Makua, Elsie Nakamura, La Morris, Trixy Morris, Ciara Morris, Alannah Morris, Shania Kahepu‘u, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will be held at a later date.

Jason Richard Burrell
Jason Richard Burrell, a lifelong resident of Kaua‘i, was called home to our Lord on Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, at the age of 33. He was born on Aug. 13, 1990, in Lihu‘e. He loved fishing, football and working out at the gym. He was a self-employed painter.
Jason is survived by his parents Rick and Lynne Burrell of Wailua Homesteads, his son Andrew Burrell Cadiz, his brother Garrett (MC) Burrell, his grandparents Theresa Wery Meyers, Dean Burrell, uncles Wayne (Cynthia) Feike, Jerry Burrell, Jeff Feike (DeMaris), numerous cousins and niece Marilynn.
A service is scheduled for noon, Dec. 21, 2023, at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Anastacion (Ana) Agpaoa
Anastacion (Ana) Agpaoa, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Nov. 13, 2023, at home at the age of 97. She was born on April 3, 1926, in Lawa‘i, Kaua‘i. She was a housekeeper at Kaua‘i Surf and a kupuna at King Kaumualii Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by husband Urbano Agpaoa, daughter Adoracion Raquel, parents Flabiano Galot and Maria Galot.
She is survived by sons Norie Raquel (Stephanie) of Kaua‘i, Jerry Raquel (Mi) of Kaua‘i, Pacifico Raquel (Miyong) of Nevada, Enrique Raquel (Dorothy) of California, daughters Evangeline Budrewicz (Hanz) of California, Marilyn Char (Russell) of Kaua‘i, Josie Carroll of Kaua‘i, Remy Rea of Kaua‘i, 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
A service will be held on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at the Garden Island Mortuary. Visitation is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of life. The family requests casual attire and welcomes flowers.

Danny Lillo Crain
Danny Lillo Crain passed away on Nov. 19, 2023, at the age of 70. Danny was born in Houston, Texas, on Dec. 17, 1952, and was a pre-school teacher for Natural Bridges Pre-School.
He was preceded in passing by parents Betty Adams Crain and Lillo Crain, siblings Marjorie Crain-Parkerson, Joan Crain-Nelson and Gene Crain.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Kirsten Crain, son Leo Crain, sisters Liza Allred and Annivive (Tomas) Palm.
A celebration of life for Danny will be announced in the future.
