PO‘IPU — The launch of the Koloa Elementary School Holiday Bags fundraiser is just a part of the Black Friday deals and special promotions that will take place at The Shops at Kukui‘ula from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 24, commonly known as Black Friday.
The Holiday Bags campaign will be available at select retailers at The Shops from Nov. 24 through Dec. 24. The campaign features gift bags, which have been hand-decorated by Koloa Elementary School students in grades kindergarten through grade 5. The bags are available for a minimum $1 donation.
“We look forward to starting the holiday season with special deals, live music and, of course, Santa,” said Stacie Chiba-Miguel, who is the regional manager at Alexander &Baldwin. “We love supporting the Koloa Elementary students and their one-of-a-kind holiday bags, and we hope our guests will, too.”
The day starts with a Lappert’s Hawai‘i Breakfast-On-Us coupon that is good for a 16 ounce coffee of the day, and a choice of muffin, scone, or two cookies while supplies are available. The coupon is available by redeeming a Black Friday receipt of any amount.
Shoppers taking advantage of The Shops’ Black Friday deals can earn 3 times HawaiianMiles by redeeming receipts that total a minimum of $50 to a maximum $500. There may be additional restrictions at the redemption booth located in front of the Tommy Bahama store.
A live DJ, a surprise visit from Santa and a prize drawing for a Yeti Roadie Cooler are just part of the post-Thanksgiving excitement.
Registration for the Yeti cooler will take place at the redemption desk for anyone who is 18 years or older. There is no purchase necessary to sign up.
