Meanwhile, the Hawai‘i Lodging and Tourism Association, Kaua‘i Chapter (Samira Siale said they just hosted their annual Malama Awards on Thursday night) is partnering with the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i to host a food distribution at Kaua‘i Community College on Saturday morning before Gratitude Day starts at Kukui Grove Center.
Cyndi Ayonon, president of the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i, was busy helping the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank with its food distribution on Friday at Kaua‘i Veterans Center, and will be at Gratitude Day to launch the Zonta Holiday Fund that provides holiday gifts for the list of those who otherwise would not have a merry holiday.
Edie Ignacio Neumiller of the Zonta Club of Kaua‘i said there will be a special 16 Days of Activism event (the Kaua‘i Society of Artists are holding a Red Dress event from Nov. 25, the opening day for its Small Work Big Show exhibit, through Dec. 10 (no, Small Work Big Show exhibit runs until Jan. 5, 2024!) for 16 Days of Activism that celebrates building a better world for women and girls. The special event is on Nov. 29 at the KSA gallery at Kukui Grove Center.
