The Kaua‘i Handworks Craft Fair is happening on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. (remember when the line used to wrap around the Elsie Wilcox Elementary School cafeteria?) to 1:30 p.m. at Kaua‘i Veterans Center, said Elena Camat of Elena’s Gourmet Kaua‘i Pretzel (she had duty at the Grove Farm Market, earlier in the day, too) during the Downtown Lihu‘e Night Market, where Lynn Layaoen was getting two teachers from the Philippines acquainted with the island by having Hamura’s Saimin (you don’t need the Downtown Night Market to do that …they’re there every day).
