That advice must’ve been heard by a lot of people as Elyse Litvak of Kumu’s Cupboard and Sheila Bradly of Paper Pie opened their book sale benefiting Kumu’s Cupboard on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., where they got a visit from Ana and Arianna Munoz (they’ve got the Special Needs Prom coming up in February) who wrote “Perfectly Loved,” a book intended for parents with Special Needs children that made the No.1 position at Amazon.

The Lihu‘e Patriots Pop Warner Association 12 Under tackle football team (congratulations on winning the 12 Under championship on Sunday at Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Complex) will be hosting a car wash and pancake breakfast on Saturday at Isenberg Park to help the team get to California, a where they will be participating in a Pop Warner bowl game.
