There is no Westin on West Kaua‘i, just the West Inn said Peter Thielen who got here from the Lanikai area of O‘ahu. How do you keep the Apple auto correct from thinking the West Inn is a Westin?

Kudos to Peter, Joshua Huntoon and Isaac Gampong on their first Kaua‘i Hand Blown Glass (using the pot of melted glass instead of glass rods) Pop-Up that got help from Kaua‘i Society of Artists President Renee Palmer in setting up the trio’s debut of hand-blown glass.
Queen Piarei (she was detoured to Kaua‘i because of the recent Maui wildfires … yikes, we’re in another Red Flag situation!) was providing entertainment for the artists reception, and announced plans for a concert with middle school ‘ukulele students coming in the spring of 2024.
Kudos to the Kaua‘i Landscape Industry Council on a successful Arbor Day tree giveaway that brought life to the Kukui Grove Center parking lot early Saturday morning, as Noelani Pomroy and her ‘ohana acquired trees and plants for the lei garden they’re planning for Island School, whose Sabra Kauka was busy with the Kaua‘i Native Plant people … And, who was that doctor that asked about having medical help at the volunteer restoration projects?
Kudos, Retired General Mary Kay Hertog and all the hands that put together Kaua‘i Veterans Celebration (yes, we knew Ed Kawamura wasn’t going to miss this, and Jim Jung said the Shaka Burgers just cooks the burgers slow, their service is fast).
