Another Trunk or Treat, this time presented by the Kaua‘i Resilience Project, Kaua‘i Action and Planning Alliance and Kukui Grove Center takes place Sunday afternoon starting at 3 p.m. for preregistered trick-or-treaters and 4 p.m. for everyone else.
In the meantime, there is the final free pumpkins for keiki giveaway that starts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Grove Farm Market. That means there’s just enough time to grab a pumpkin (what? you haven’t gotten yours, yet?) before getting to Kukui Grove Center for the Fall Festival that starts at 10 a.m.
Out on the North Shore, the Kaua‘i Christian Academy is hosting its Fall Festival on Friday and Saturday (I heard the dinosaurs are coming on Saturday, only!) from 4 p.m. in Kilauea … that was always a nice place for a safe community Halloween.
And, if you’re looking for something to do after the final KIF football game at Vidinha Stadium, the Rice Street Block Party (no worries, the Kaua‘i Beer Company has something in the works to bring attention to that part of Rice Street) takes place from 4 p.m., Saturday featuring Play Streets, the Keiki Zone, live music, food trucks, and even craft vendors. All for free with lots of things available for purchase.
