Dr. Michael Woltmon
Dr. Michael Woltmon, 71, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Oct. 9, 2023. He was born on May 6, 1952, and was the owner and veterinarian of Kaua‘i Veterinary Clinic. Michael was an avid orchidist, pig farmer, and budding gem cutter.
He is survived by his daughters LaCona (Francisco) Woltmon, Michelle (Jarred) Perry, Nolana Rapozo, grandson Francisco III Barron and granddaughter Ryenne Perry.
In lieu of flowers or koden, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Kaua‘i Hospice.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Philip Cadawas
Philip Cadawas, 83 years old, passed away peacefully on Aug. 27, 2023 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Philip was born on Oct. 23, 1939 in Lihue, Hawaii. He owned Philip’s Gas Station & Auto Repair Service in Kapaia and retired from TransHawaiian Tours as a Maintenance Supervisor.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marian Cadawas of Hanamaulu; five daughters, Noreen (Eustaquio) Padilla of Las Vegas, Debra (Goudie) Morden of Puhi, Yvette Cadawas of Hanamaulu, Janelle (Daniel) Bardell of Indianapolis and Lori Cadawas of Honolulu, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Darlene Cadawas; his parents, Filemon and Matsuko Cadawas; brothers Benjamin Cadauas, Stanley Cadawas, sister Aurelia “Nina” Perlas and in-laws, Bilarmino and Josephine Mande.
