Jane Sadamitsu
Jane Sadamitsu, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Sept. 8, 2023, in Lihu‘e at the age of 92. She was born on Sept. 28, 2023, on Kaua‘i. She was a clerk.
She was preceded in death by husband Wayne Sadamitsu, parents Giriyo and Yoshie Oyadomari, brothers George (Misao) Oyadomari, Dwight (Mabel) Oyadomari, Kenneth (Doris) Oyadomari, Thomas (Leck) Oyadomari and sister Alice (Edward) Hisley.
She is survived by sons Michael (Cynthia) Arashiro of Honolulu, Daryl Arashiro of Las Vegas, Nevada, daughters Dena (Joel) Sumida of Wailua, Lisa Dimitrov of Waipahu, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brother Jimmy (April) Oyadomari of Kaua‘i, sister Ruby (Walter) Saito of O‘ahu, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private service was held.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
Dolores Martin DeCosta
Dolores Martin DeCosta, of Oma‘o, passed away on Aug. 28, 2023, in Oma‘o at the age of 87. She was born on Aug. 21, 1936, in Kalaheo.
She was preceded in death by William DeCosta, Van DeCosta and parents Antone and Trinidad Martin.
She is survived by sons Ross (Kehau) DeCosta of Makaweli, Billy (Drena) DeCosta of Omao, Rod DeCosta of Wailua, daughters Belinda DeCosta of Arizona, Lynne (Nicholas) Lum of Wailua, nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, brother Alfonso Martin of Kalaheo, sister Maria Randall of Honolulu, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at a later date.

Kith ‘Nalu’ Silva-Lacro
Nalu passed away on Sept. 7, 2023, at the age of 28 years old, in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i. He was born in Waimea, Kaua‘i on Dec. 1, 1994. He worked for Gill Construction Company.
He was preceded in death by father Edward Lacro, maternal grandparents Paul P. Sr. and Helen Silva, uncles Noland Silva, Orlie Kimble, Joseph Grace, paternal grandparents Vicente and Teodora Lacro.
He is survived by mother Paula Bacio, sisters Phrystal Bacio, Larlyn (David) Fitzpatrick, Laynette (Tim) Parbo, Leslie Lacro, Leilan Kolaski, brothers Lyman (Erika) Lacro, Chad (Amberlynn) Rita, Chaz Rita, numerous, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rodney Wade Oyamot
Rodney Wade Oyamot, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Sept. 13, 2023, in Lihu‘e at the age of 65. He was born on Oct. 4, 1957, in Waimea. He was a fuel truck driver for Sentes Petroleum.
He was preceded in death by parents Severino and Elizabeth Oyamot.
He is survived by wife Josephine Rasay-Oyamot, son Jason Rasay-Gasmen of Lihu‘e, daughter Maren Rasay of Lihu‘e, three grandchildren, brothers Malcom (Faith) Oyamot of Kapa‘a, Mansfield (Noreen) Oyamot of Hanapepe, Jonathan (Marietta) Oyamot of Hanapepe, sisters Rowena Fukushima of Lihu‘e, Wenda (Chuck) Moon of Kekaha, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service will be held at a later date.
