Kilauea gets new preschool classroom

The contents of one of the backpacks that preschool students in the Ready Keiki program will receive next month include two packs of crayons, a folder, antibacterial wipes, a notebook, a blanket and a water bottle.

KILAUEA — Several state officials were at Kilauea School on Thursday, where they visited a new preschool classroom set to open next month as part of Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke’s Ready Keiki initiative.
