KEKAHA — Kaua‘i Fire Department Ocean Safety Bureau officials reopened Kekaha Beach Park to swimming on Tuesday afternoon, after determining the water was safe for swimming.
Lifeguards closed Kekaha Beach Park to swimming on Monday afternoon after reporting that a possible 8-foot tiger shark was sighted off shore. Warning signs have since been removed.
