LIHU‘E — A pair of local residents, who had been presumed missing earlier this month, have been located, authorities said Wednesday.
LIHU‘E — A pair of local residents, who had been presumed missing earlier this month, have been located, authorities said Wednesday.
Daisy Ogawa, 15, of Kapa‘a, was found after the Kaua‘i Police Department received a tip from a Parents &Children Together representative regarding the teen’s whereabouts.
KPD officers responded to a residence in Kapa‘a, and then recovered her safely at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27. She was later returned to her family at the Kapa‘a police substation. She was reported as a missing runaway on June 13.
Harold David Pike, 67, of Kalaheo, is also no longer considered missing after an investigation determined he had flown out of the state on his own accord. He was reported missing on Monday, June 19.
The third missing person case he was referencing was that of Kaili Marie Hutchins, 38, of California, who was reported missing from Hanalei on Wednesday, June 21. Hutchins was located the same day.
