Meanwhile, Coach Dick Ueoka said Coach Todd Ozaki is coordinating a bowling tournament starting at 12:30 p.m. (you should go before then to register) to benefit the Kapa‘a Pop Warner Association’s losses the association suffered during the recent fire at the Mayor Bryan J. Kudos, Jeanine Longboy and all her seniors at Kaua‘i High School on a great 5K Summer Color Run to create memories and fundraise for senior class activities! You couldn’t tell who had more fun, the runners or the people dumping powder and squirting colored dyes. Great job for all!
National Hot Dog Day is coming up Aug. 5, and The Village food truck is getting excited with its LA Hot Dogs. Does Partea sell hot dogs? Any other push on hot dogs (you gotta be lucky to get the Target ones, and you can’t beat the Costco ones).
And, if you need something to do, the Red Eye Snack Shack (do they have hot dogs?) is having its opening on Saturday at The Pineapple Store outside Hanama‘ulu from 5 p.m.
