Justin Kawika Kaipolauea Rapozo
Justin Kawika Kaipolauea Rapozo passed away on May 21, 2023. He was born on Feb. 20, 1983.
He was preceded in death by grandmothers Patricia Reyes, Rachel Rapozo and Elizabeth DelaCruz, grandfathers James Reyes and Jimmy Rapozo, and partner Ku‘ulei McFadden.
He is survived by parents Marlene Silva and Ray Rapozo Sr., son Seth Jamal Rapozo-McFadden, siblings Ray Rapozo Jr., Payton Rapozo, Arielle (Cherie) Silva, Mandi (Brittney) Bracey and Nonohilani Rosa, and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, and cousins.
Services will be announced in the future.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Alana Kaye Fujikawa
Alana Kaye Fujikawa passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023 at her home with her spouse, Dean Fujikawa, at her side.
She was born on Oct. 18, 1952. A graduate of Kapa‘a High School, she went on to become a teacher and counselor at various schools on Kaua‘i. She was an avid tennis and pickle ball player who excelled in the sports.
She was preceded in death by parents Gary Matsumura and Betty Matsumura.
She is survived by husband Dean Fujikawa, brother Anthony Matsumura, sisters Wilma (Thomas) Chandler and Tanya (Gilbert) Laguatan, niece, nephews, aunt, uncle, cousins, grand-nephew and grand-niece.
A private service was held. The family requests no koden.
Garden Island Mortuary assisted the family.
