Allan Guy Thompson
Allan Guy Thompson, 60, of Lihu‘e, passed away on May 15, 2023 from metastatic cancer. He was born on a military base in Fort Polk, Louisiana on April 12, 1963, and worked as a real estate manager for Fidelity Investments for 31 years before retiring to Kaua‘i, where he had his passions of tennis, scuba diving and hiking.
He was preceded in passing by mother Joan Brewer Thompson.
He is survived by his husband of 34 years Kevin Falk of Lihu‘e, father Billy Thompson Sr. of Trumann, Arkansas and brother Billy Thompson Jr. of Memphis, Tennessee.
A celebration of life will be announced in the future.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Jeffrey Farr
Jeffrey Farr, 71, passed away on May 13, 2023. He was born in Ogden, Utah on Feb. 2, 1952, and worked as a ski instructor.
He was preceded in passing by his parents Robert A. Farr and Sharon L. John.
He is survived by Karen Farr, children Julia (Brandon) Smart, Jeffrey Farr and Aerial Farr, siblings Phil, Asael and Dana Farr, and stepmother Barbara Farr.
Services will be announced in the future.

Richard Vidinha
Richard Vidinha passed away on May 3, 2023, in Waimea, at the age of 96.
He was born on Aug. 10, 1926, on Kaua‘i. He was a retired police captain, U.S. Army veteran and saddle maker.
He was preceded in death by wife Concepcion Vidinha and son Richard “Dickie” Vidinha.
He is survived by daughters Ida (John) Elliott, Colleen (Mike) Faye and Elisa (Rowland) Souza, sons Kurt Vidinha and Irvin (Ronnie) Vidinha, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, May 27, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. A private burial will be held.
