Class of 2023
Hey, we made it. I know we went through a lot to make it here, but we made it.
The nights we spent studying for that one exam, the time taken out of our schedule by homework and extracurricular activities, and the days we spent in the classroom all have come to this.
I’ll miss the hangouts with friends during recess, the class camaraderie, and even the everyday “hellos,” which some of you may miss as well.
Our journey was a tough one, considering our sophomore and junior years, but it’s one we get to share with the rest of the world.
The road to graduation is up ahead, everyone. Wishing you all the best of luck on your future journey.
Congratulations, my fellow graduates. We all deserve this.
Matthew Gabriel, Waimea High School, Class of 2023
Your post on the Durham report was so confusing and sugar coating and biased. The headline especially sounds like there was some merit to the accusation of Russian Collusion with Trump. Here is what the Durham report said.
Durham writes: “Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we conclude that the [Justice] Department and FBI failed to uphold their important mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report.” Durham slammed FBI leaders for a “serious lack of analytical rigor” and for depending on “investigative leads provided or funded (directly or indirectly) by Trump’s political opponents.” Please do your homework before you influence others with your own bias- A reporter’s job is to investigate and report the truth, not spin an event for the benefit of their own personal bent.
Congrats. High school was good. I don’t know about Waimea High School, but mainland schools are different. It is so big and so much people, no time for anything. So just getting by and being smart is the job. But good goings and good luck to you on whatevers from here.
