Kaua‘i High School pitcher Evan Batalucco threw a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts to lead the Red Raiders to a 2-1 win over Island School in the night cap of a doubleheader during Kaua‘i High’s Senior Night at Vidinha Stadium on Friday.
Waimea claims KIF softball title; Kapa‘a in play-in Wednesday
There will be no Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation softball playoff on Monday based on Waimea High taking 15-3 and 19-5 wins over Kapa‘a High during KIF softball games at Kapa‘a High on Saturday.
