WAINIHA — The state Department of Transportation announced a possible right lane closure of Kuhio Highway (Route 560) in either direction for grass cutting between mile marker 7 to 9, in the vicinity of Wainiha Bay Beach Park and Ha‘ena Beach Park, April 17 through April 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Kilauea
• A right lane closure of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) is possible in either direction for grass cutting between mile marker 23 to 25, in the vicinity of Hookui Road and Kalihiwai Bridge, April 17 through April 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Anahola
• Nightly single lane closures of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) are possible in either direction for paving between mile markers 9.8 and 15, in the vicinity of Mailihuna Road and Aliomanu Road from Sunday, April 16 through Friday, April 21 starting from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Kapa‘a
• A lane closure on a portion of Hau‘a‘ala Road near St. Catherine School in Kapa‘a may occur from April 17 to April 21, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting, for waterline installation work.
• A portion of Kawaihau Road and Mailihuna Road will experience periodic one-lane closures and road narrowing from April 17 to April 22, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for clearing and grubbing, excavation, and construction.
Wailua
• A right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) are possible in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, for the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements.
• A single-lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) is possible in either direction for guardrail and drainage installations and striping between mile marker 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Kapa‘a Bypass and Kuamoo Road, April 17 through April 21, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Nightly two-lane closures of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) are possible in either direction between mile markers 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Kapa‘a Bypass and Kuamo‘o Road, April 16 through April 21, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements. Traffic will alternate in both directions through one open lane.
Hanama‘ulu
• A shoulder closure on Kapule Highway (Route 51) is possible in either direction for tree trimming between mile marker 0 to 3, in the vicinity of Wa‘apa Road and Hehi Road, April 17 through April 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Kalaheo
• A single right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) is possible in the westbound direction for grass cutting and guardrail clearing between mile marker 14 to 17, in the vicinity of Hanapepe Road, April 17 through April 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• A single lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) is possible in either direction for installation of concrete barriers, pavement markers, and bumps between mile marker 10.3 to 11.4, in the vicinity of Hokua Road to Koloa Road, April 16 through April 21, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Lihu‘e
• A single right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) is possible in the westbound direction for tree trimming between mile markers 3 and 4, in the vicinity of Pu‘uana Road and Kipu Road, April 19 through April 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
