Pat said the new location was all right since she spent a lot of money on the resin art (they look like gummies, but are not soft and squishy) done by Kailyn Langtad of Lovely Charms by K.

Amara Coon was still going for food, except she had a lot farther to walk, and Darnell Sugioka said they couldn’t book a space for June because the market is full.
Kudos to Pastor John Cabello and the Hope Collective Church on distributing more than 16,000 Easter eggs with the help of Airborne Aviation (they’re the same people who did the golf ball drop as a fundraiser for Kaua‘i Special Olympics). Hope Collective did their Easter weekend in their new building at Rice Shopping Center.
Aida Cruz, of the Kaua‘i Veterans Center, is looking to fill the emptiness left when Hope Collective moved, and is looking for vendors and food trucks willing to participate in the Local Treasures Marketplace that will open on May 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lihu‘e center. Kudos, Meilissia Sugai, Theri Martin-Haumea and Michelle Rego on hosting and coordinating the Easter Product Fair at Sheraton Kaua‘i Coconut Beach in Waipouli (they just hosted the Kaua‘i United Way luncheon, too!), where more than 20 vendors enjoyed the live entertainment that included the Easter bunny and Mary Lardizabal and the award-winning Kapa‘a Middle School Choir and ‘Ukulele Band. They’re also coming to Kukui Grove Center for the Summer Transition in Education Planning for Students Fair (STEPS).
