WAINIHA — The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation announced a possible right lane closure of Kuhio Highway (Route 560) in either direction for grass cutting between mile marker 5 to 7, in the vicinity of Lumahai Beach Park and Wainiha Powerhouse Road, April 10 through April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m..
Princeville
• A right lane closure of Kuhio Highway (Route 560) is possible in either direction for guardrail repair between mile marker 1 to 3, in the vicinity of Ohiki Road and Mahimahi Road, April 10 through April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Kilauea
• A right lane closure of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) is possible in either direction for grass cutting between mile marker 22 to 24, in the vicinity of Kaluamakua Place and Kalihiwai Road, April 10 through April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Anahola
• Nightly single lane closures of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) are possible in either direction for paving between mile markers 9.8 and 15, in the vicinity of Mailihuna Road and Aliomanu Road April 9 through April 14, starting from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
• A right lane closure of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) is possible in the southbound direction for guardrail repair between mile marker 14 to 23, in the vicinity of Pu‘u Hale Loop Road and Ho‘okui Road, from April 10 through April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• A single right lane closure on Kuamo‘o Road (Route 580) is possible in the westbound direction for paving between mile marker 0 to 0.6, in the vicinity of Wailua Road, April 9 through April 14, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Kapa‘a
• A portion of Kawaihau Road and Mailihuna Road will experience periodic one-lane closure and road narrowing from April 10 to April 14, for clearing and grubbing, excavation, and construction, in a project to construct a peanut-shaped roundabout, sidewalks, paved shoulders, and various other roadway improvements.
Wailua
• A right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) are possible in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and Kapa‘a Bypass, for the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements.
• A single right lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) is possible in either direction for guardrail and drainage installations and striping. between mile marker 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Kapa‘a Bypass and Kuamo‘o Road, April 10 through April 14, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Nightly two-lane closures of Kuhio Highway (Route 56) are possible in either direction between mile markers 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Kapa‘a Bypass and Kuamo‘o Road, April 9 through April 14, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements.
Kalaheo
• A single right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) is possible in the westbound direction for grass cutting and guardrail clearing between mile marker 13 to 17, in the vicinity of Hanapepe Road, April 10 through April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• A single right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) is possible in the westbound direction for tree trimming between mile marker 11 to 12, in the vicinity of Halewili Road to Lauoho Road, April 10 through April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• A single lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway (Route 50) is possible in the eastbound direction for Hawaiian Telcom utility pole relocation between mile marker 10.3 to 11.4, in the vicinity of Hokua Road to Koloa Road, April 10 through April 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
