LIHU‘E — On Friday, April 21, 2023, Malama Kaua‘i (MK) will hold a public meeting at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held in MK’s office located at 3-3204 Kuhio Highway, Suite 102, Lihue, HI 96766.
The purpose of this meeting is to give the citizens of Moloa‘a and the surrounding areas the opportunity to become acquainted with the proposed new food hub, Moloa‘a ‘AINA Center.
MK is applying for financing through the USDA Rural Development Community Facilities Program. Attendees will be able to ask questions and comment about the project, general financing, economic and environmental impacts, service area, alternatives, and any other general inquiry.
