Pastor John Cabello said the Hope Collective Helicopter Egg Drop will take place on April 8 (that’s next Saturday when Comic Con2 takes place from 11 a.m. at the Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort) starting at 9 a.m. at the North Vidinha soccer fields. The exciting twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt (what? Kukui Grove Center is hosting an egg hunt, today starting at 10 a.m.?) is the eggs are dropped from a low-flying helicopter.

The helicopter Egg Drop is just part of a Hope Collective Easter “Life Changing Weekend” that starts with Good Friday Service starting a 7 p.m. at the new Hope Collective building located in the Rice Shopping Center.
On Easter Sunday, Hope Collective will host two services — one starting at 8 a.m., and the other starting at 9:30 a.m. — at its Hope Collective New Building in the Rice Shopping Center.
Kukui Grove Center hosts its Spring Festival and Egg Hunt (sorry, registration is already sold out for the limited quantity egg hunt) done through the Egg Hunt Treasure Map that goes past the Bunny House where the Easter Bunny is available for free bring-your-own camera photos. Besides the Easter Bunny, who else is going to be available with candy and prizes? And don’t forget the crafts.
The Easter Bunny comes back, Tuesday for Toddler Tuesdays (starting at 11 a.m.) before joining the egg hunters at The Shops at Kuku‘iula, Wednesday with registration starting at 4:30 p.m.
