PO‘IPU — The Shops at Kukui‘ula announced its free family friendly schedule of Easter festivities that include the ever-popular Easter Egg Hunt on April 5, and a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny on April 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Palm Court.
“We are excited to bring back our Easter Egg Hunt to our community,” said Stacie Chiba-Miguel, regional manager at Alexander &Baldwin. “Spring time is here, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all our guests.”
Coinciding with the weekly Pop-Up Farmers Market at The Shops, Easter Egg Hunters start registering at 4:30 p.m. at the Palm Court area, which is located between The Dolphin restaurant and Merriman’s. Hundreds of eggs filled with candy will be up for grabs, including special Golden Eggs filled with prizes through the courtesy of participating merchants in The Shops at Kukui‘ula.
The Shops remind egg hunters to bring their own Easter baskets for egg finds. Additionally, for the safety of all, parents will not be allowed in the egg hunt area.
Registered hunters up to 3 years old will have their opportunity to find eggs starting at 5 p.m.
Egg hunters ages 4 to 6 years old will be released starting at 5:10 p.m., and hunters ages 7 to 9 years old will have their opportunity starting at 5: 20 until all the eggs are found.
The Easter Bunny makes its appearance, April 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the hale at The Shops’ Palm Court area, and invites keiki and families to come meet and greet the long-eared very important bunny of Easter and spring. There will also be face painting available by Peek-a-Bootique.
No reservations are necessary, and The Shops encourage people to limit the meet and greet to five minutes per family.
