The Japanese visitor was mesmerized by the jig being performed by the Showtime Characters leprechaun on Saturday. You gotta get it on the first time because you don’t know how many more times the leprechaun is going to do it, and mahalo to the Hawai‘i Building Maintenance crew for having the watchful eye (and mop) for any wayward cups of beverages.

Brenda Turville Biehler and the leprechaun will be back Friday — that’s the official St. Patrick’s Day (and whose birthday falls on Friday?) — from noon to 2 p.m., with special St. Patrick’s Day activities and entertainment.

Ron Wood and Janice Akiyama of FM97 (Dave Lister and the Starfish from Star94 were trying to get a ride aboard the Airborne Aviation helicopter on Friday at the Rockin’ Range Special Olympics fundraiser at The Ocean Course at Hokuala) are just waiting for Saturday when Kukui Grove will air “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” for its Saturday night movie, with Kaua‘i Partea having the movie night snack specials.

Stephen Fujii and Sylvia Fujii were enjoying their Deli &Bread Connection sandwiches (is that why he missed the Pau Hana Market?) with an out-of-town relative near the Aloha Dance Studio (have you checked out the free dance classes during spring break?) and spied Ada Koene waiting patiently to discuss the Koloa Plantation Days book.
