PRINCEVILLE — The state Department of Transportation annoucned a roving, single-lane closure for shallow depth road borings on Kuhio Highway is possible in the westbound direction, between mile markers 0 to 4, in the vicinity of Princeville Center and Waikoko, from Monday to Friday, Feb. 27 to March 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Kilauea
w A right-lane closure for grass cutting on Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction, between mile markers 21 to 25, in the vicinity of Waiakalua Street and the Kalihiwai River, Monday through Friday, Feb. 27 to March 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Kealia
w A nightly, single-lane closure for repaving of Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction between mile markers 9.8 and 15, in the vicinity of Mailihuna Road and Aliomanu Road, from Monday through Friday, Feb. 27 to March 3, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., as a part of Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements.
Kapa‘a
w Portions of Kawaihau and Pelehu roads will be closed from Monday through Friday, Feb. 27 to March 3, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, sidewalk constructio, and roadway construction;
w A single-lane closure is taking place on portions of Kawaihau Road, from Kahuna to Haua‘ala roads, now to March 7, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting, for road resurfacing work.
Wailua
w A single right lane closure for paving on Kuamo‘o Road is possible in the westbound direction between mile marker 0 to 0.6, in the vicinity of Wailua Road, from now through Friday, March 3, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.;
w Nightly two-lane closures of Kuhio Highway are possible in either direction between mile markers 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Kapa‘a bypass road and Kuamo‘o Road, now through March 3, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements;
w A single, right-lane closure for guardrail installation and surveying on Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction between mile marker 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Kapa‘a bypass road and Kuamo‘o Road, on Monday through Friday, Feb. 27 to March 3, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.;
w A right-shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kuhio Highway are possible in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and the Kapa‘a bypass road, for Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements.
Kalaheo
w A single, right-lane closure for grass trimming and guardrail clearing on Kaumuali‘i Highway is possible in the westbound direction, between mile marker 11 to 14, between Makua Place and Hanapepe Valley lookout, from Monday through Friday, Feb. 27 to March 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
