LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i Veterans Council is offering the community sponsorship opportunities for its “first post-pandemic fun event for veterans.”
The Kaua‘i Veterans Council is hosting its first bingo night and camaraderie on March 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center in Lihu‘e.
“We hope to have more than 200 veterans and their families meet at the Veterans Center for a night of camaraderie and bingo,” said Kaua‘i Veterans Council Commander Mary Kay Hertog in a solicitation letter. “We are asking if you could provide a gift card or some kind of donation we could use as a bingo prize.”
Contributions from the community are very helpful in defraying the cost of hosting the bingo night and camaraderie.
Contributions can be arranged to be picked up by calling Kim Blaum at 808-651-0609. The Kaua‘i Veterans Council is a nonprofit organization.
