Following are this week’s synopses of shows on KBFD TV, which televises Korean dramas with English subtitles:
Weekly Update
“Blessing of the Sea:
Episodes 53, 54, 55 and 56 (Sunday)
Today, 6:40 p.m.: Ji-na visits the rooftop in search of her ring. Shi-joon takes Ji-na back up to the rooftop making her anxious. Seeing Ji-na with the ring enrages Shi-joon into thinking Ji-na is guilty of murdering his mother. Chung-yi sees them at the rooftop coming to Ji-na’s rescue.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Ji-na sees Yeol-mae falling into water while trying to find something of Moo-shim. Chung-yi is distraught over the death of Moo-shim and Yeol-mae gone missing. Ji-na reaches out to Pil-du asking him to help her out. Chung-yi finds out the truth about Yeol-mae’s accident. Ji-na is arrested as the suspect.
“Hospital Ship”
Episodes 33 and 34 (Monday); Episodes 35 and 36 (Tuesday)
Monday, 6:45 p.m.: Chairman Jang shows up at Geojae Jaeil Hospital without warning. Along with his presence, the audit team arrives at the hospital ship. Eun Jae is worried about the baby who were born on the ship. Eun Jae is called in by the police.
Tuesday, 6:50 p.m.: The police make an issue about the baby that was born on the ship. Hyun heads for the police station when Eun Jae is cornered. The government stops the hospital ship’s operation using budget as an excuse. The Doosung group’s plans are revealed. All the events puts pressure on the hospital ship.
“Secret House”
Episodes 85 and 86 (Wednesday); Episodes 87 and 88 (Thursday)
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Ji-hwan comes to rescue Dong-chul and Sook-jin’s plan to ger rid of him fails. Tae-hyung gets suspicious of Sook-jin. Sook-jin tells Tae-hyung that Dong-chul is Tae-hee’s biological father. Tae-hyung questions whether his father is Nam Chan-woo.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Tae-hyung is thrown into confusion seeing DNA results of Dong-chul and himself. Sook-jin’s lie is found out. Tae-hyung tries to send Dong-chul away. Ji-hwan learns something shocking from his father’s doctor making him suspicious about his father’s death. Tae-hyung questions Sook-jin about his real father.
“Gwanggaeto”
Episode 15 (Friday);
Episode 16 (Saturday)
Friday, 7:50 p.m.: Hwang Hoe is imprisoned for treason, but Damdeok hears that while Hwang Hoe did technically break the law, it was out of intent to help the people. Damdeok heads to Ichunseong with Dol Bisu and Yeo Seokgae to investigate. In the meantime, Ga Ryom, the corrupt lord of Ichunseong, cooks up a scheme to placate the prince with bribes.
Saturday, 7:50 p.m.: Gae Yeonsu worries that Ga Ryeom might be in trouble and decides to go see for himself. Ga Ryeom entertains Damdeok with bribes and wine. Damdeok pretends to go along and has Dol Bisu and Yeo Seokgae look into the real situation in Ga Ryeom’s jurisdiction. The next day, Damdeok collapses during another party.
