Waimea’s Elden Simpliciano Siliado works to negate the position advantage gained by Kaua‘i High’s Walker Turpin during a boys 220-pound division bout on Saturday during the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation wrestling championships at the Bernice Hundley Gym on the Kapa‘a High campus. Siliado earned points during the first two rounds through his aggressive and quick moves before succumbing to a pin in the final two minutes of the bout.

KAPA‘A — Kaua‘i High School wrestling teams took the boys and girls Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation wrestling championship titles at Bernice Hundley Gym on Saturday.
