The special package is available at the Salty Wahine gift shop in Hanapepe, and all of their outlets, including the pop-up farmers market at The Shops at Kukui‘ula, among others, while supplies last, Laura said.
Nikki Ige of Grove Farm was busy getting the Grove Farm Market (farmer/vendor Mayette Loseto said she had the first pick of green cream apples!) ready for Dr. Monty Downs of Kaua‘i Hospice, who provided a couple of hours of live entertainment for shoppers with his guitars and harmonicas. And Johnny Gordines of the Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau was talking about how great the Ag Day at the state Legislature was, with a lot of the dignitaries stopping to visit.
Elena Camat was not having a soggy day in the rain, starting with the Grove Farm Market and finishing with the Downtown Lihu‘e Night Market, where Sky Flores provided the street music, and Project Vision was lamenting not getting some of the to-go Hamura Saimin as a hedge against the cold night wind (Talia Anama of Ruke Permanent Jewelry said the wind was definitely a problem at the Hanapepe Friday Art Night).
