LIHU‘E — Kaua‘i Police Department Detective Aaron Lester was promoted to the rank of lieutenant during a promotion ceremony hosted by the Kaua‘i Police Department on Thursday at the police headquarters building.
LIHU‘E — Kaua‘i Police Department Detective Aaron Lester was promoted to the rank of lieutenant during a promotion ceremony hosted by the Kaua‘i Police Department on Thursday at the police headquarters building.
“We congratulate Lt. Lester on his well-deserved promotion and look forward to seeing him continue to make a positive impact for this community in his new role and level of responsibility,” said KPD Chief Todd Raybuck.
Lester, a 10-year veteran of the police department, spent the last four years as a detective conducting investigations, including sexual assaults and other violent crimes.
He will be taking over as district commander assigned to the Waimea station, where he will oversee patrol operations for the entire district.
