PO‘IPU — A veteran of the accommodation sector, with extensive experience in hospitality and property management, was named general manager of Koloa Landing Resort in Po‘ipu.
Aaron Bambling was appointed to the position earlier this month. He brings more than 20 years of experience managing five-star properties, resorts and hotels to his new position.
Bambling, who was most recently the general manager of the AC Hotel Phoenix Biltmore, where the hotel earned “Best in Class” in all facets by Marriott Properties during his four years on the job.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to be working with the team at Koloa Landing Resort. From the first time my wife and I visited Kaua‘i over 15 years ago, I fell in love with the island, the culture and the strong sense of community,” said Bambling in a statement.
“We have visited the island several times since then, and have always relished in the idea of moving to Kaua‘i. I look forward to working with, learning from and contributing to both the amazing ‘ohana that exists at Koloa Landing Resort and the local community.”
Prior to his position at AC Hotel Phoenix, Bambling worked with Hersha Hospitality Management and Marcus Hotels operating independent and five-star properties, including the Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee and Sanctuary Beach Resort in Monterey, California.
“With Aaron’s extensive experience in hospitality and property management, we’re confident he will provide strong leadership to our team of more than 200,” said Todd Hadley, president of Koloa Landing Resort, in a statement.
“Through his proven track record of providing exceptional guest service and exceeding guest’s expectations, we will make great strides in improving our team and product.”
