KEALIA — The state Department of Transportation announced a right shoulder closure on Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction between mile marker 9.7 to 10.08, in the vicinity of Kealia Beach Park and St. Catherine Cemetery, from Jan. 15 to Jan. 20, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. for utility work.

Kapa‘a
• A lane shift and one lane closure on Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction between mile marker 9 to mile marker 9.07, in the vicinity of Kawaihau Road, Jan. 15 to Jan. 20, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., for utility work.
• Portions of Kawaihau and Pelehu roads will be closed from Jan. 17 to Jan. 21, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation, sidewalk construction and roadway construction.
Wailua
• A right lane closure of Kuhio Highway is possible in the northbound direction between mile markers 5.9 and 6.6, between the Kapa‘a bypass road and Kuamo‘o Road, Jan. 17 through Jan. 20, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for guardrail installation and surveying;
• Nightly two-lane closures of Kuhio Highway are possible in either direction between mile markers 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of the Kapa‘a bypass road and Kuamo‘o Road, Jan. 15 through Jan. 20, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements. Two-way traffic will be maintained by contraflow of one northbound lane. A right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kuhio Highway are possible in the southbound direction, between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and the Kapa‘a bypass road, for the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements.
