One system for voting
In response to the article “Kaua‘i in-person voting went Republican,” there should only be one system for voting and it should be always in-person. Having both votes in-person and by-mail really isn’t necessary.
Not only would it be more organized for citizens to all vote in one place, but it would also reduce the fears of voter fraud since, as the article stated, many of the Republican Party are already voting in-person instead.

Annoying campaign signs
Let’s see now. It has been, what, two months since the election? And yet, campaign signs still litter our beautiful Kaua‘i. It seems that nearly all of the signs are for the candidates who lost. Isn’t this embarrassing to the losers? To see these signs all over and know that you lost? The election is over. Accept it and move on. Hawai‘i has a no billboards law for a reason. The signs are blocking the beauty of this island. Please remove them.
