Jean Souza of Kaua‘i Ocean Discovery in Kukui Grove Center in Lihu‘e said she even created a fish using the set of PicassoTiles that KOD received during the holidays.
She said Kaua‘i Ocean Discovery would happily receive any Legos families are no longer using to build the KOD inventory of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) toys for young minds to be creative while visiting the Kaua‘i Ocean Discovery.
Jean said Kaua‘i Ocean Discovery is planning some special Lego events for February.
Kaua‘i Ocean Discovery is open free to the public Wednesday and Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thank you, Girl Scouts, for announcing the start of Girl Scout cookie sales (the graduates of the Cookie University are able to take pre-orders for delivery as soon as Kaua‘i supplies get in following February 17.) This includes this year’s new flavor, Raspberry Rally, that will be available online for direct shipment only. Raspberry Rally is described as the “sister” cookie to the highly popular Thin Mints (Jean likes the discovery of putting them in the freezer), and will be part of the 10 flavors being offered this year.
