Following are this week’s synopses of shows on KBFD TV, which televises Korean dramas with English subtitles:
Weekly Update
“Blessed By The Sea”
Episodes 29, 30, 31 and 32 (Sunday)
Today, 6:40 p.m.: Chairman Ma and Pil-du’s conflict begins to surface. Poong-do realizes there’s no traces of Ji-na on his cellphone and confronts her. Shi-joon terrorizes Ji-na with old photos of them. Pil-du and Ji-na work together to separate Poong-do and Chung-yi.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Pil-du schedules shareholders’ meeting with Chairwoman Ma’s power of attorney. Jae-ran questions the validity and Pil-du puts her at ease saying it’s the will of Chairwoman’s. Chung-yi discovers that Poong-do has taken her seeds. Poong-do has taken them as a revenge for Chung-yi taking his mother’s belongings.
“Hospital Ship”
Episodes 9 and 10 (Monday);
Episode 11 and 12 (Tuesday)
Monday, 6:45 p.m.: Eun Jae and Hyun has another day swamped with patient care. Jae Chan arrives in an ambulance with stage four cancer. Eun Jae recommends surgery and Hyun is engulfed in worry. Eun Jae and Hyun are in conflict over Jae Chan.
Tuesday, 6:50 p.m.: Kwak Sung does not recognize his own son Hyun at the ship. Hyun is pain seeing his father’s condition worsening. Jae Chan refuses surgery against Eun Jae’s urgings. Jae Chan leaves for his last picnic with his students. Him and his students get caught up in a bus accident.
“Secret House”
Episodes 61and 62 (Wednesday);
Episodes 63 and 64 (Thursday)
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Sol’s condition worsens. Tae-hee found a transplant donor and pretended that she was the actual donor. Tae-hyung and Joo-hong move into the house after getting married. Joo-hong pretended to love Tae-hyung and move into the house to get evidence.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Ji-hwan figured out that there existed another grandson of Chairman Nam. He probes into Tae-hyung’s father in order to find some trace. Tae-hyung tries to bring Sol home to have something on Ji-hwan. Tae-hee gets super sensitive with Joo-hong living under the same roof.
“Gwanggaeto”
Episode 3 (Friday); Episode 4 (Saturday)
Friday, 7:50 p.m.: News has it that Damdeok has captured Houyan’s crown prince Murong Bao, but their whereabouts are unknown. The generals at Yodongseong put up a Murong Bao lookalike to thwart Murong Chui’s attack.
Saturday, 7:50 p.m.: After exchanging Murong Bao for his men, Damdeok is punished by Commander Ko Mu and has his rank stripped. Ko Mu’s son volunteers to put his life at risk in a scheme to assassinate Murong Chui. When there’s suspicion that a Goguryeo general is leaking information, Damdeok is ordered by Ko Mu to look for the traitor.
