LIHU‘E — The Kapa‘a High School Junior Varsity girls volleyball improved to 8-0 following a sweep of the Island School team Friday night during the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation girls volleyball games that were contested at both the Wilcox Gymnasium on the Island School campus, and the Kaua‘i High School gym.
Visitor spending for August 2022 surpassed pre-pandemic August 2019
HONOLULU — According to preliminary visitor statistics released by the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT), total visitor spending as measured by nominal dollars was $1.71 billion in August 2022, an increase of 13.8 percent compared to the $1.50 billion reported for August 2019.
