Gretel P. Gray
Gretel P. Gray passed away on Nov. 20, 2022, in Las Vegas, at the age of 45. She was born on Dec. 4, 1976, in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She was an accounts specialist with Station Casinos in Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by father William Gray, brothers William Gray and Kenny Gray.
She is survived by mother Prima Gray, brothers Allen Gray of Tigard, Oregon, Grayson Gray of Kalaheo, sisters Theresa Gray, Rosella Bailey of Tigard, Oregon and Barbara McDonald of Irrigon, Oregon.
Viewing is Friday, Jan. 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Garden Island Mortuary.
A service is Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. followed by Mass at 10 a.m.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Anthony Kealii Arnezto Jaramillo
Anthony Kealii Arnezto Jaramillo, 72, passed away at his home in Kapa‘a on Nov. 17, 2022. He was born in Lihu‘e on Aug. 25, 1950 and worked as a maintenance technician at Plantation Hale.
He was preceded in passing by parents Mariano and Beatrice Jaramillo.
Anthony is survived by wife Deborah Jaramillo, children Hinano (Chris) Jaramillo, Moani (Cornel Jr.) Lum, siblings Abby (Warren) Palmeira, Harry Jaramillo, Mary (Gene) Phillips, grandchildren Naia, Kaui, Kaili, great-grandson Kailer, and his faithful companion Buddy.
A service is Saturday, Jan. 7, at St. Catherine Church in Kapa‘a. Visitation is from 9 to 9:45 a.m. followed by Mass. A paina following services will be at St. Catherine Church Hall.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ricardo E. Navor Sr.
Ricardo E. Navor Sr, 83, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Dec. 10, 2022, in Lihu‘e. He was born on March 14, 1939, in the Philippines. He was a sugar crane operator at Lihu‘e Plantation.
He was preceded in death by parents Agapito Navor and Celerina Navor, grandson BJ Navor Gaitos, brother Juanito (Anacleta) Navor, sisters Adelina (Mariano) Negrillo, Paulina (Cresencio) Bumatay, Darlene Navor and stepmom Rachel Navor.
He is survived by wife Adelina P. Navor, daughters Marlene (Jonathan) Reyes, Virgie (John Nakamura) Navor, Norma Mission, Maile (Lester) Tugade, hanai daughter Zhylelah Cummings-Navor, sons Ricardo (Kym Estacio) Navor Jr., Ridel (Jayne Ramelb) Navor, grandchildren Fredrick-Hollywood (Nadia) Navor, Tyner (Sierra Kelekoma) Navor, Dustin (Leiala Cummings) Navor, Brandon (Shaleia Aplidao) Navor, Mariah (Justin Moriguchi) Navor, Nalani (Marion Carbonel) Mission, Kelsie (Kalen Laranio) Navor, Krystal-Carrie “KC” (Kylie Souza) Gaitos, Austin (Diamond) Ramos, Cameron Navor, Alaysia Navor, Lauryn Tugade, Logan Tugade, Lexi Tugade, Kasarah Navor, Nalu Nobriga, Clifton (Amber Keeler) Mission, Anu Navor, Naya Navor, Kiani Taniguchi, Chastin Mission, 33 great-grandchildren, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
