He is survived by his long-suffering wife Vivian, and their five remarkable daughters.

Gretel P. Gray
Gretel P. Gray passed away on Nov. 20, 2022, in Las Vegas, at the age of 45. She was born on Dec. 4, 1976, in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
She was an accounts specialist with Station Casinos in Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by father William Gray and brothers William Gray and Kenny Gray.
She is survived by mother Prima Gray, brothers Allen Gray of Tigard, Oregon, and Grayson Gray of Kalaheo, sisters Theresa Gray, Rosella Bailey of Tigard, Oregon, and Barbara McDonald of Irrigon, Oregon.
Viewing is Friday, Jan. 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Garden Island Mortuary.
A service is Saturday, Jan. 7, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. followed by Mass at 10 a.m.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Juanito P. Colobong
Juanito P. Colobong, 55, passed away in Lihu‘e on Dec. 15, 2022. He was born in Solsona, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Oct. 20, 1967. He worked as a landscaper at Kukui‘ula and the Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort Lihu‘e.
He was preceded in passing by father Diony Colobong.
He is survived by wife Evelyn Colobong, mother Rosa Colobong, siblings Virgillio (Rachelle) Colobong, Antonia Igelesia, Fatima Colobong, Linda (Albert) Alacar, Betty Galzote, Mario (Racquel) Colobong and Dionyrose (Mike) Pajil.
Services are Wednesday, Jan. 4, beginning at 9 a.m. at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home, with internment to follow.

Fausta Domingo Ortega
Fausta Domingo Ortega, 98, of Lihu‘e, passed away peacefully on Aug. 20, 2022 at Wilcox Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 13, 1923, in Lahina, Maui, and was a retired baker at the old Kaua‘i Cinnamons bakery.
She was preceded in death by parents Norberto and Barbara Domingo, brothers Jimmy Domingo and Manual Domingo, sisters Violet Laird and Juanita Guillermo and son Rudolpho Ortega.
She is survived by brothers Alfred Domingo and Henery Domingo, sisters Carol Helton and Dolores Ayson, son Lucas (Ramona) Ortega, daughters Patrocinia (August) Schrader, Catherine Alayvilla and Arlene Palmeira, 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lihu‘e on Jan. 13, beginning at 11 a.m.
