Marvin Taba
Marvin Taba, 80, of Kalaheo, passed away on Nov. 13, 2022. He was born on Dec. 30, 1941. He was a retired mechanic.
He was preceded in death by parents Tenpo and Hatsue Taba.
He is survived by wife Ayako (Katada) Taba, son Irving Taba of Honolulu, daughters Alison Taba (Brian) Navasca of San Mateo, California and Linda (Eric) Hattemer of Los Angeles, grandchildren Kai Navasca and Yukimi Navasca, and numerous cousins.
Private services will be Thursday, Dec. 29, at Garden Island Mortuary. Visitation with family will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with celebration of life services to follow.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Leslie Ann Agno Macadamia
Leslie Ann Agno Macadamia, 29, of Kealia, passed away at home on Nov. 20, 2022. She was born in the Espiritu, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Aug. 4, 1993.
She was preceded in death by father-in-law James Macadamia.
She is survived by husband Jameson Macadamia, parents Joel and Flory Agno, brothers Louren Jay (Jeniffer) Agno and Joemar Agno, nephew Luke Asher Agno, niece Liana Rae Agno, mother-in-law Laurie Macadamia, aunty Clarita Domingo, and numerous aunties, uncles and friends.
A celebration of life is Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Kaua‘i Veterans Center, with visitation from 9 a.m., services at 10 a.m. and luncheon to follow.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jennis O. Christian
Jennis O. Christian passed away peacefully on Dec. 21, 2022, at the age of 89. She was born on March 3, 1933, in Lihu‘e. She was a dedicated homemaker.
She was preceded in passing by husband Donald Christian, father Joseph Iida, mothers Marie and Isabella Iida, siblings Joseph, Charlie, Harold Iida and Merilyn Costa, sons-in-law Timmy Alalem and Teddy Gorospe and grandchildren Tyler and Aaron Alesna.
She is survived by daughters Amber (Eddie) Ancheta, Suzie (Randy) Racca, DeeDee Gorospe, Rene (Andy) Alesna, Jan Cheryl Alalem, Claire Ann Christian, Jolynn (Steven) Gladmann and Apryl Worthington, son Wayne Manago, 24 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing is at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at 1 p.m. Additional services and burial will be announced on a future date.

Steven Takashi Urabe
Steven Takashi Urabe, 78, of Waipahu, O‘ahu, a Vietnam War Air Force veteran and retired electrical technician for Hawai‘i Sound Systems, passed away on Nov. 11, 2022 at Queen’s Medical Center West. He was born in Lihu‘e.
He is survived by wife Sheryl Eto Urabe, son Jon (Christie) Urabe, daughter Shawnette Urabe, brothers Harold Urabe and Francis Urabe and eight grandchildren.
Private services were held.
