LIHU‘E — In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays, county offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.
Closed will be all neighborhood centers, Kekaha Landfill, Puhi Metals Recycling Center, Koloa HI5 redemption center, and COVID-19 testing at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall and Hanalei Neighborhood Center.
All refuse transfer stations and the Kekaha Landfill will observe the holidays on Sunday, Dec. 25, and Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023.
Because the Waimea swimming pool is closed on Mondays, the staff will observe the holidays on Dec. 27 and Jan. 3, 2023.
All HI5 redemption centers except Koloa will be observing their normal business days and hours. See the website at kauai.gov/HI5 for more information.
The schedule for residential refuse pickup will remain unchanged.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holidays.
